Rutger (38) & Ligia (38) met during a salsa night in Colombia, where they lived together for five years. Their love for adventure took them on an incredible journey—from building their own American school bus camper to starting their own eco-friendly campsite in Italy! 🌿✨
But the road to their dream was far from smooth. After months of working on their self-sufficient camper, disaster struck: a fire destroyed their bus. Political unrest in Colombia ultimately pushed them to Europe, where they found a new opportunity. In Abruzzo, they discovered a piece of land filled with ancient olive trees—the perfect setting for their dream: a small-scale off-grid camping near Pescara.

We have finished harvesting our last olive tree. 🌳💚💪🏻
With a 40% reduction in yield compared to last year, we managed to gather every last olive to turn it into our extra virgin olive oil. This was made possible thanks to our centuries-old trees, over 400 years in age 🌳, which today, without any chemicals or fertilizers, give us a product of the highest quality.
Thank you to everyone who gifted us their time and lent a hand in this challenging work. 🤗👊🏻
